Travelling by motorhome is pure freedom: you wake up to new sights every day, you carry your “home” on your back and you decide your route without depending on timetables. But before you set off on your adventure, there are a few things you need to be clear about to make your trip unforgettable... for the right reasons 😉.
1. Learn how to use the motorhome
Before you pick up your motorhome, take a look at the vehicle user guide and write down any questions you may have. This way, on the day of delivery, we will be able to solve them and your first day will be much calmer and you won't go crazy with so much information.
2. Must-have apps for your motorhome trip

If you are going to France, have a look at Camping-Car park, you have to register but you can access very interesting motorhome areas and you will be able to book in advance (advisable if you are travelling in high season).
3. Plan your first stop well

Don't worry about finding the most beautiful spot: after driving and loading the motorhome, it's a long day. 4. Don't go crazy with luggage

4. Check your documentation
Before coming to pick up the motorhome, make sure you have everything you need: your ID card and your driving licence, and check that both are valid. Remember that drivers must have held their licence for at least 2 years and be over 25 years of age.
Don't forget that the deposit is paid by credit or debit card when you pick up the vehicle. The remaining amount of the rental can be paid by bank transfer (48 hours before departure), in cash or also by credit card, whichever is more convenient for you.
