In this guide we tell you about our route through Extremadura by motorhome in spring, with essential stops and practical tips. Of course, we didn't get to see the cherry blossoms in the Jerte Valley, as this spectacular natural phenomenon usually occurs between late March and early April, and lasts around 10 to 15 days, depending on the weather conditions each year.

Jarandilla de la Vera
At the Comarca de la VeraCáceres is located Jarandilla de la Vera. A historic town surrounded by nature, which stands out both for its heritage and for the tranquillity it offers.
One of the treasures it holds is its Castlethat the emperor Charles V used as a residence in his retirement to the Monastery of Yuste. In the Tourist Office you can find out about this and the many activities and services that the area has to offer.
